From 14 century, Shamisen is a major instrument in Ryukyu music.
Choichi Terukina is “National Living Treasure of Japan (Ryukyu classical music )”and one of leading experts of Sanshin. He has gotten offers from not only Japan but also all over the world.
He keeps on singing and playing Sanshin in order to transmit the traditional arts that he has taken over to prosperity.

Meaning of the poem
Only genuine heart is important than anything in order to earn your livelihood. If you say with the best intentions, it is not it does not fit your livelihood. It will be what you say for sure.
He harks over that the poem(Naka-fu style) builds up the hearts of the citizen ceaselessly.
