Robbie Boyd is a singer / songwriter from London, UK. He recently released his debut album, ‘So Called Man', and has supported artists like The Kooks, Johnny Flynn and The Feeling. Robbie has performed twice on ITV's ‘This Morning', been championed by Graham Norton on BBC Radio 2, written songs with Ray Davies, sold out his last six London headline shows, and was the first ever Brit to perform on the roof of the O2 Arena.

Robbie's lyrical inspiration comes from many hours spent busking on the streets of London, Paris, Cologne and Buenos Aires where he honed his craft. The tight harmonies and instantly memorable tunes, reflect Robbie's refreshingly positive outlook on life. Robbie started out five years ago and has toured the world with his bandmates, as far as Argentina, America and now Japan!

Robbie takes to instruments very quickly. He has already mastered the guitar, piano and the ukulele. When he arrives in Okinawa we will be introducing him to the Sanshin, a traditional three stringed instrument made out of snake-skin and wood to see if he can master that too.
